The essences were developed in the 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a physician and homeopath who believed that the key to good health was emotional harmony. He identified 38 flower essences made from wild plants, trees and bushes, each one corresponding to a specific emotion.
Simplicity was critical to Edward Bach's system - he wanted everyone to be able to understand them and categorised the system into seven groupings to help individuals identify the essence for them.

Bach™ Original Flower Remedies are the only brand that sources its flowers and plants from the gardens at Mount Vernon (known today as The Bach Centre), and other sites identified by Dr Bach.
How to use
Take an individual essence based on your needs, or create a combination of up to seven essences.
Place 2 drops in water and sip at intervals. For combination use, add 2 drops of each essence (max 7 essences) into a mixing bottle containing still spring water, and take 4 drops 4 times a day.
